Time flies when your having fun!

So cliche, but true!! Babies grow up too fast! We have been having so much fun with our spunky little Oakley! She is 3 1/2 months now and she has absolutely taken over our lives, and I don't think Brandon or I mind a bit :) Brandon's always saying things like "Why didn't we have kids sooner!?!" he's a great daddy! Oakley was blessed on March 20th, first day of spring!! (there is a blizzard going on right now as I type this...grr..) Anyway, it was so fun to have family come up here! Thanks to all who came! We love you and Oakley was so glad you could make it :) Maybe I will blog more frequently, but probably not. I am having too much fun being a mommy!

Our holidays were great! Tori, my sister in law, talked me into going to visit our families with our two week old little Oakley. It went great and I am so glad we were with family (thanks Tori). On New Year's we drove up to hardware ranch and checked out the elk. We hope everyone else had a good holiday season too!

Oakley Emma Hayes is one month old!

Wow! It's been a month! Soooo Brandon obviously did the last post, which is why there are no details :) Anyways. . . we have been loving EVERY minute of having Oakley home with us! She is so adorable and we love her so much! I feel so blessed that I get to stay home with her and have a husband that is so supportive to me, I love being a mommy!

To anyone who wants the details here they are:

Oakley was born December 11th at 8:24 am. She weighed 6 lbs 13 oz. She came super quick!! My water broke at 6:20 am and I didn't have any contractions until 6:40, which is when I woke up Brandon. Then I could barely move to get to the hospital because the contractions were coming so hard and close together! We got to the hospital pretty much just in time to have the baby.....unfortunately I missed my epidural, but because it was all so fast I guess I am glad now that's how it went. Let me say, it did not go AT ALL how I had anticipated or at all how everyone said it would...but it was AMAZING!! I still can't believe we were blessed with our beautiful baby girl!
