My Best Friends Wedding!

This past weekend I got to go to Lacie's wedding at the Grand Canyon. It was SO much fun to see her and be able to spend time with her and her family! Saturday the girls got to spend time pampering ourselves at the salon-I had my first pedicure ever and it was great! :) Suday was the wedding, but it wasnt until sunset, so we had plenty of time to get down to the Grand Canyon and get Lacie all ready. It was the first time I had ever been to the Grand Canyon and it was really cool! It was fun helping Lace get ready and everything. It made me think a lot about my wedding, and it made me REALLY homesick for my sweetie! I was sad Brandon stayed in CA working! Anyway, I had a great time and I am really happy for Lacie and Chris!

I LOVE musicals! I was raised on them so what can I say? Now I am really excited because I get to go to Wicked when it comes to Salt Lake next April. Wow! That's a LONG ways away! Oh well....... still exciting, eh? YES! It's all thanks to LeAnn, the best mother in law in the world!

The Weekend!

We went to the prasidio this past weekend. Its a park at the base of the golden gate bridge with beaches and docks... and stuff. It was really pretty- FREEZING and windy, but it was still fun! We also drove around to some other beaches and stuff..... weekends are the best!

My mom and Steph made a last minute trip out to see us this past week. It was sooo much fun to spend some time with them! On Sunday we went out for a drive to Muir beach through muir woods. The woods are gorgeous and full of eucalyptus trees so the smell is divine! The beach is pretty too, but it was very windy and cold. We drove up to the overlook, but the fog had rolled in so we couldnt see much, but it was really cool still.

Monday Steph, my mom, and I went on a hike on Mt. Diablo while Brandon was working. It was a really fun hike! There were HUGE pine cones that were as big as my head, and steph even has a picture to prove it! haha. We were all sore at the end of the day and soaked in the hot tub at our apartments. It was nice.

Tuesday we rode BART into San Fran and got some great seafood and just wandered through all the different shops. We also rode a ferry out on the bay under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. It was really fun!

Wed we just bummed around and in the afternoon we went to the Oakland temple to do some baptisms for the dead. I hadn't done those in a long time, and it was really fun! What a pretty temple!!

Thursday was the sad day of departure! We went into China town and me and steph got some really cute matching vases. Then it was time for them to go :( We had a great time with them and were soooooooo happy they got to come out! We love visitors!
