We have been pretty busy the past month! The first two weeks in May Brandon had to go to a training meeting in Kansas City for work. Oakley and I were lucky enough to fly out over the weekend he was gone and hang out with him and see all the sites. There are a LOT of sites to see in KC, didnt you know???? Ok, there really isn't, but it was fun to go see Liberty Jail, get some great BBQ and just hang out with Brandon. It was also fun to explore a new city with Brandon, which is something we love doing, but haven't had a chance to do for a long time!

Oakley started getting sick the night before we left, and I almost stayed home because I was freaked out to have a sick baby on the plane, but I went anyways. And guess what?? she slept the entire two legs of the flight, and I even got a little shut eye too! It was great! She did fabulous on the flights home too, and made friends with everyone on the planes with her beauty queen wave and smile as we were walking down the isle toward the back of the plane. I love her!

We had such a nice weekend! There were lots of Easter Egg hunts, TONS of chocolate, good food, and friends!! And Oakley running around wild while I tried to take a pic of her in her Easter dress.....

Oaks did soo good during the graduation and lunch, she was asleep before we even got on the freeway!

BRANDON GRADUATED TODAY!! I'm allowed to brag on my own blog right??? Well I'm going to! He was at the top of his class and the outstanding graduate and a goddard scholar. whew! he is a smarty! I was just beaming with pride for my lover! Can I say it again?? I am so proud!! Brandon worked so hard and deserved all of the credit that he got today! I love him so much and I am so grateful for all of his hard work.

Both of our parents were able to come the graduation and it was fun to share the occasion with them. Oakley was so cute, as usual and was so patient and fun!

Sophia came to visit us this week during her spring break and we had SO much fun!! We went to the zoo, went on walks, drove by the flooding, got ice cream, had a picnic in the park, made lots of yummy food, watched lots of Harry Potter and played Pass the Pigs! It was a blast and Soph is just so much fun! WE love her and miss her!

Okay, okay. I know how to spell sheesh!! Enough about me though, this is about my genius lover!!! On Friday we went to the business college awards dinner where he was awarded as a Goddard Scholar and THE Outstanding Graduate for Master of Accounting! Brandon likes to pretend like it's no big deal, but it totally is!! It was so fun to dress up and go out and see him get his awards! He is graduating on Friday and Oakley and I are SO SO PROUD!!!! Love you babe!
