GOODBYE Summer Sales!

This summer has been....well I don't know if there is any other way to describe it than to say it's been CRAZY!! I am packing up our stuff to move our life for the 4th time this summer!! Who does that?? This, luckily, will be our last move for a while because we are going to be making our way back to home sweet home, Utah! Yeah!!! Brandon and I can't wait to get back to our family and friends, and our gorgeous mountains!

We knew that this summer would be crazy, because we have done a summer sales program before, but I don't think we knew what we were getting ourselves into this summer. The good thing is, it all turned out great! Not what we expected at all, but we really have had so many great experiences to learn and grow, and to have fun! Brandon is just so amazing to keep going every day. He is such a hard worker and I am so lucky to have him! I did go out selling with him a lot, but I don't know how he does it EVERY day! He is the best!!

Thankfully, I think I can say GOODBYE to summer sales FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate it way more than Brandon. Actually, Brandon would probably consider doing it again, but seeing as how he will be in school next summer, I think it's safe to say we are through! hopefully! :)

Our Three Years!

What a weekend! We just had our third anniversary on August 2nd and it was so much fun! Brandon got to take Saturday off so that we could just spend the day together. He surprised me with pretty flowers and chocolate covered strawberries. Yumm.... We also got to go to the beach, have a picnic, and just play! As always, we had a blast! It was a gorgeous sunset, and there was lightening wayyyy off in the distance that was really cool to sit and watch. I love Brandon so much and I am so happy that I chose him for my forever!

San Francisco

Sophia at the gate of China Town

Yes, it was named after me and my hubby :)

she is adorable right?

In one of the art galleries there was a giant cake and dress ups where they let you take pictures. We were the only ones in there. It was great. Every girls dream come true.

me and TL outside of the exploritorium

It was unseasonably warm and we had a good time at the beach one afternoon

So my sister TL and my niece Sophia had a trip planned to visit us in CA. Then we moved..... They still had there plane tickets and decided to hit up San Francisco anyway! I was lucky enough to go back and enjoy the city with them thanks to TaraLynn! It was SOOO much fun!! We seriously had a blast! I have been there a few other times this summer, but it was different staying in the city. I loved it!! We explored Hayes Valley, which had the cutest shops and best food ever, and it was a lot less touristy than some other areas of the city. Also we went into North Beach which is a little Italy that is adorable (also good food there!). We of course went to fishermans wharf and did all the stuff there and had some incredible sea food! Probably the most fun was when we went to the exploritorium which is a hands on kid museum, which was also a blast for adults! There was this thing called the tactile dome and you go in and its completely pitch black. You have to feel your way around crawling through tunnels, rooms, and sliding down slides. It was awesome! We really had a great time! It was a needed break from the boredom of Indiana!

Notre Dame, and the beach of course!

This is Brand in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on Notre Dame Campus.

So we haven't really been doing much but working and trying to get things lined up for our return to Logan. Exciting!!! We did however take an exciting walk around Notre Dame campus the other day. It's huge, and pretty! Also, we are only about a 30 min drive to St. Joseph's which is on the shore of Lake Michigan. We love it out there! It reminds me of Bear Lake, minus the FREEZING cold water! Well, and it's a little bigger than Bear Lake.... I seriously wish we could just go there and play every day!

The Fourth

The 4th of July is my absolute favorite holiday! I think I love it so much because my parents always made it so much fun for us when we were kids. Brandon had to work part of the 4th this year, but we still managed to have a fun day, even in Indianna. Actually we went to Michigan, we are right on the border. The locals call it Michianna. wierdos. :) Anyway, we went to a little town called St. Josephs on lake Michigan. They set fireworks off the pier and we just cozied up on the beach with each other and a bag of jelly bellies (which are very entertaining by the way) and watched the sun set and played in the water till dark. It was really fun! The fireworks were pretty over the water and we could see other fireworks being launched all around the lake. It was fun! Maybe not as cool as Delta though.....

Visiting Utah

We did get to go boating at Yuba Resevior Hayes' style the Saturday we were in Utah. It was so much fun just to kick back and relax!! We swam a lot and did some knee boarding. It was so great! Darrell and LeAnne took us out with Ashlyn and Avry. They are the cutest kids! We also got to see our newest nephew Aryn who was born just before we left earlier this spring. He is adorable! We had a great time!

Sunday we chilled at the Thompson house and played with Ezra and Sophia, another adorable niece and nephew. Clark and Tori stayed late to play games with us. It was a lot of fun, and it was really good to see everyone!

I am pretty sure Brandon and I have the best families. We are blessed!
Here are some boating pictures:

Goodbye Sunny California....hello, Indianna???

So here is the tragic story:

I was in AZ the day of my friend's wedding running around in her hotel room helping her get ready. Brandon called me and through sketchy cell phone service asked me how I felt about moving to Indianna for the rest of the summer. I laughed and told him I would call him after the festivities of the wedding that evening. Silly Brandon, always teasing.....

After the glorious wedding and the pictures and fun that evening I was back at my hotel room. I finally got a hold of Brandon and he again asked me something about moving to Indianna. Just so you know, Brandon really loves to tease me. . . being that I loved where we lived in California this is exactly the kind of thing Brandon would tease me about. The thing is, he was serious. I dont think I actually believed him until I got back to California and saw everyone else packing up. Our sales office really was closing and the company really was moving us all to South Bend, Indianna. WHAT?!!???!!! Yeah, pretty disappointing.

We left last Friday, stopped in Utah for a couple of days, and then drove to Indianna arriving this past Tuesday night. Sad. Fortunately there are some cool things here too. fireflies. thats about it.
This is our new apartment complex. Sweet....Notre Dame College dorm style!

Our last trip into Fisherman's Wharf. It was really smokey from all the fires!! Dont worry, the seafood was still delish!
