NO Celine!?

I was supposed to be at Celine Dion on Friday after purchasing the tickets over a year ago...... instead:
Twighlight!
I was actually pleasantly surprised. I didn't have high expectations for the movie, but it was great! I went with the girls on Friday, and with Brandon last night. LOVE IT! As for Celine, she will be here in February.....I hope!!! I can't handle that kind of disappointment again!!

Halloween!

I love Brand's face in this pic....lol
Yeah for dressing up!! We had fun on Halloween with the family and also going to a spooky haunted house! Loved it!

Elk Hunting!

This post is late of course, but over fall break I had a day off so Brandon took me four wheeling. Oh, and it was also the elk hunt....These are all super cheesy pictures, but that's ok. It was fun being up in the mountains! It was super muddy and snowy but I think our friend JanNeil got the worst of it......

Brandon's Birthday!

This cake is inspired by the artwork of my niece Sophia

Brandon turned 27 on Sept. 20!!! Yay! I had to work on his birthday so we celebrated it the day before. We went up Logan Canyon and had yummy tinfoil dinners and s'mores with the Garfield's. It was so pretty with all of the leaves changing and we had lots of fun! I didn't have to work too early on Saturday so I got up and made Brandon his favorite: strawberry crepes! He got some new binoculars to use on all his hunting expeditions this fall. I hope he had an good day! Love you babe!

We live!

Well! We have been SO busy. Obviously. School started, and we both started our jobs. Brandon is doing accounting for the same company as before the summer and I am working at a residential treatment center for adolescent girls. I love my job! Working full time and school full time is crazy though! But, Brandon has been living and breathing hunting and fishing since we got back to Utah so it's not like I would ever see him if I was at home anyway! Through all the craziness we do still manage to have fun once in a while. Here are some pics from Labor Day when we took a drive up the canyon. That seems like forever ago..... It snowed!! Crazy...

Notice the white flecks in my hair?? I promise it's snow!!!!!
Brand was trying to start a snowball fight....
My hubby is like a little boy....he found this salamander and was so excited came running to show it to me. I love it!
I was cold and sat in the truck and that is the pond where Brand found the salamander. Yes, he ran all the way up the hill to show me his new friend. He wanted to take him home. I wouldn't let him...

Trip back to Utah! Nauvoo!

The Lotus on the Mississippi
By the Mississippi in Nauvoo

The Temple
Right across from the temple, looking over Nauvoo

Our friend Katherine was in Nauvoo the same time we were! We got to see some sites together and go to a concert that night. We also got to meet her new little girl Hailey! She was soo cute, even in her sleep!

The Trip Back to Utah! Wisconsin!

Brandon and I were planning on visiting his mission this fall, but we were so close when we were in Indiana, we decided to go through there on the way home. It was SO much fun! I thought it would be really fun for Brandon, and well...maybe a little boring for me, BUT luckily I was wrong! I really enjoyed meeting the people Brandon served. We even got to go to church in the Oneida Branch where he served on the reservation. I was surprised at how many people recognized Brandon immediately, even though it had been 4 yrs to the date since Brandon had first come to that area. Amazingly, we were able to hit up all his areas. It was really fun. Also, a cute couple Mike and Dorothy, that Brandon served when he was out there let us stay with them. It was so much fun to see around there farm and hang out. We loved it!

Me at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. It was freezing and I was in shorts!
